Due to golf course booking requirements, it is mandatory that you register with the Tournament Directors 8 days (or as specified) prior to the tournament. Contact information for tournament directors is noted above. If you have registered for, but are unable to attend a tournament, please contact
a tournament director to cancel ASAP. Failure to do so may result in your responsibility for green fees.
Facebook
Just a reminder that CLGK is a part of Facebook. For those already on Facebook, just type in CLGK in the Search box and you will have access to all club information. Photos will be posted only on Facebook. Photos from previous seasons may still be viewed on the CLGK website under Photo Archive. We would encourage all CLGK members to join Facebook to view photos, current info, etc. There is no cost to join. You can also communicate with other members, etc. If you have photos or any tidbits you would like posted to the CLGK page, just send it to Ramune Dagys. You can also go to www.facebook.com/ChicagoLithuanianGolfClub without having to join Facebook.
Membership Dues
The annual club dues will remain at $45 for the year. This fee includes tournament
fees (except match play), handicapping service, prizes and awards. Junior dues for
are free for juniors 18 years and younger. Depending on club finances, the club may purchase hot dogs at selected tournaments. Guests are not eligible to win any prizes and there will be a $5 guest fee if the club is purchasing hot dogs. Guests are limited to a maximum of two tournaments a year. Dues must be
paid no later than June 1st or the member will forfeit their club membership.

Handicaps
As of January 1, 2020, the USGA has moved to the World Handicap System. There are problems with the system in terms of cost, complexity and implementation. The Valdyba has decided to continue with the our old system going forward. In other words, you won’t see any changes in how your handicap index and course handicaps will be computed. The only difference is that the handicap indices are no longer approved by the United States Golf Association. The CLGK Handicap Index will be converted to a course handicap and used in the net competition tournaments that we conduct. We will post all tournament scores, but in order for your CLGK golf index to be valid, it is required that all of your golf scores, with name of course, tee used, adjusted score with course rating and slope, be posted. You can do this by texting Arunas Dagys, or sending this information by e-mail at ArunasD@sbcglobal.net Directions for adjusting the golf score, as well as the current golf indexes/handicaps for all club members, are available by visiting the club's web site. You may view any members handicap record for the entire year by clicking on the Handicap Records link.
